In 2021 I started a sermon series on Fellowship for something I believed God told me to do. Well, what I thought I was to do is no longer a thing (more on that here), I still kept the content though. And that’s what you’ve been seeing and will see the previous and next few weeks.

9 Jabez was more honored than his brothers. His mother named him Jabez and said, “I gave birth to him in pain.” 10 Jabez called out to the God of Israel, “If only you would bless me, extend my border, let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm, so that I will not experience pain.” And God granted his request.
I Chronicles 4:9-10 (CSB) – Main Text
Jabez prayer was short. If short could be used to describe it. He said,
“If only you would bless me, extend my border, let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm, so that I will not experience pain.”
However, it moved God to act.
Being in fellowship with God will allow him to move on your behalf when you come to him in prayer while you’re in pain. And that prayer can be short and to the point just like Jabez’s prayer. Like the prayer below.
