I’ve been on this journey for several years now. Faith building has been one that feels like I am depleted at times while other times I’m energized to keep moving forward on this walk. And Lord knows I need to build my faith as it has wavered far too many times as well as I questioned what’s the point too often. Now things are finally settling into a solid foundation I believe I can build upon.
Reading Scriptures isn’t always uplifting or motivating if we’re being honest.
Can I be honest with you?
We sometimes just see them as words on a page in a too-thick book that some people misquote and use to fulfill their own personal agendas.
But can I share something I had to realize?
It’s not about the words. It’s the power that lies within the words that build your faith. The power that comes from the source of the origins of those letters strung together into words that become sentences that were grouped into chapters that lead us to understand how God unveiled Himself throughout the ages.

Don’t let me lie and say this is easy to do. It’s not. It’s something I had to make a concerted effort into putting into practice on a consistent basis. Some days I fall short but I get up the next day and continue this journey of faith building.
