Y’all I’m really not into drama-filled reality tv like that anymore but for some reason I really like Belle Collective. Let me quickly share what it is then I can share why I enjoy the show.
Belle Collective focuses on women in Jackson, MS who are entrepreneurs and business owners. These ladies are the creme de la creme of Jackson and have no problem letting anyone know it. Yet to me, none of them come off as arrogant. Just sure they can back up what they say.
So, let’s get into why I enjoy Belle Collective. I’m gonna keep it quick and cute.
1. The ladies are all relatable. None of them come off as unapproachable.
2. The businesses are not all beauty, fashion, entertainment based. These ladies, especially Marie, branched into areas many people overlook. And it’s paying off for them.
3. As of right now, we’re only at the beginning of season 2, but the drama doesn’t seem forced or fake. Which is both appealing and y’all it can be a lot at times to me. But all personalities don’t always get along. Trust me, I know from experience.
4. These women have real bodies and are all naturally beautiful. [Spoiler: even with a boob job (name redacted) she’s still a natural beauty as the rest of the ladies are too.]
Every so often we need to escape the reality of the on-going multiple pandemics and just get lost in something that won’t create more harm. For me, Belle Collective is that escape that hopefully will give me the entertainment I need to get through this new semester of ministry school. Yes, I’m in ministry school and watch Belle Collective. Anyhoo, we all need to find what brings us a little joy in this dark world. This post isn’t sponsored but would love to get paid to write recaps of the show.
