I’m a small-town girl living in a “big” city creating the simple life of my dreams. It’s still a dream but I’m currently working on it. A lover of chocolate, reading and most definitely taking naps. Binge-watching Netflix can take hours of my day but it also refreshes me at the same time. I’m a proud introvert but have no problem leading a conversation. I am becoming a kinder person. Now that was a lot of work involved to get here, okay. But I can also let a person know don’t push it. Believe that.
My nephews are my heart and I strive to follow my dreams so they have someone that has been an example for them to not settle in life. Even if it looks krazy to the outsiders peeping in. Honestly, my dream is to live in a tiny house, blog and bake desserts every day. Preferably anything with chocolate in it. Only because I need something sweet and delectable to nibble on while I blog.
Blogging has been my form of writing since 2009. I want my words to encourage others to act on their own thoughts, dreams, desires. To believe what’s in you and not what others say is in you. Being vulnerable has helped me connect with people through my blog. And that makes me extremely emotional in the happiest of ways.
I’ve probably failed more than most because I’m willing to try to bring my wildest dreams to life. And try I do. Lost a lot of money but at least I know that idea just wasn’t going to work when I decide to do it. On the flip side, when it worked, it sure did work.
I would rather try than play the game of ‘what if’. I prefer games I have a chance of winning. With that philosophy, I have no regrets, just annoyances. Currently working on dwindling that list down. Pray for me y’all.
