I Don’t Have Time To Journal

That’s if you choose not to dedicate time to writing down your thoughts. You know it only takes 20-30 minutes a few times a week to really maximize the full benefits of journaling. Once you get in a flow you can actually write an entire page in 5 minutes. Yep, 5 minutes.



You have to exercise your writing muscle. Just like a muscle in other parts of your body, if it’s not used, it will become a hindrance to you when you need it most. Like creating content for your business.

As a former middle and high school athlete, I worked out every day. My muscle mass was the strongest when I was 14 years old. That was after 2 years of consistent dedication to making sure my body was in the best shape for the variety of sports I played.

But what happens in business?

You have to create content, respond to emails, write proposals plus more writing tasks than you actually realize. Yet so many of us aren’t equipped to present a strong voice. That muscle is weak. That’s why I teach 12 different types of journaling to help you strengthen your writing muscle. We all have different ways we like to communicate but writing is still a top way of communicating in business.

So don’t you think strengthen that muscle is a skill that will lead to more revenue?

I know it does. When people see your strong voice in writing they are more apt to want to hear what you have to say. Your writing attracts the customers/clients who will buy from you. When you first start journaling I suggest you put a 20 minute timer on and write until it goes off. Don’t get online, answer your phone or watch TV. Just dedicate that 20 minutes to pouring your thoughts, whatever they are, on paper. Or doodling. I teach art journaling too.
